Dallon and Lisa

Dallon and Lisa have always been supporters of rodeo! From judging rodeos, serving on National Boards, being a timer and pitching in wherever they can! Being Shawnee’s dad and a mechanic by trade Dallon was pitched the Robo Roper idea and he ran with it from there!

So What’s the Story?

Dallon is Shawnee’s dad and for the last 23 years he has followed her across the country to rodeos and jackpots. A mechanic by trade, Dallon was always serving and helping grow rodeo being heavily involved with youth associations. He served on the National Little Britches Execute Board acting as their President in 2013 He also judged several rodeos and worked the ground for prestigious events in venues all of the the US. In 2015 Dallon married Lisa and they continued to travel around helping with rodeos and the up and coming athletes.

Shawnee has always competed in rodeo’s doing every event she possibly could. Serving on youth boards, holding national titles and competing at a professional level rodeo is her passion. In 2022 she started dating Radar, also an avid roper. Tying calves and team roping all through youth rodeo up to the PRCA level. The two of them train horses and rope together, living in Utah in the summers and Arizona in the winters. It was one winter in Arizona when Shawnee was driving in circles pulling the dummy for some young horses. Her dad gave her a call and she said “it sure would be nice if there was a rumba for cowboys, it just drove itself in circles and pulled the dummy, no driver required!” And that is how the idea came to life.

With that Dallon got to work on The Robo Roper. With Dallon’s mechanical expertise, Lisa’s support, Radar and Shawnee’s critiques and brilliant minds of some engineers in the Utah Tech University engineering program The Robo Roper came to life!

It is the hope that The Robo Roper becomes a staple piece in every ropers arena! The convenience of practicing how you want, when you want and not needing to rely on anyone else! It is simple to use, durable and built to last! The Robo Roper lets you “train like a champion, no crew required.”

Radar and Shawnee

Radar and Shawnee are avid ropers and have been their whole lives! Spending their summers in Utah and winters in Arizona they train rope horse and jackpot together. It was in their arena one Arizona afternoon that the idea of the Robo Roper was born.
